Rising Appalachia at The Lobero Theatre

Rising Appalachia brings its blend of folk, roots, and alternative sounds to The Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara, California, on April 2, 2027. Led by sisters Leah and Chloe Smith, the group is known for weaving acoustic instrumentation, close harmonies, and globally influenced rhythms into its music. Their catalog includes songs such as “Resilient” and “Medicine,” with a sound shaped by folk traditions and contemporary songwriting.

The Lobero Theatre's historic setting offers an intimate backdrop for Rising Appalachia's expressive, acoustic-led performance style. The group's concerts often create a warm, communal atmosphere, balancing reflective songs with lively rhythms. This date is listed as the event's Santa Barbara appearance; tour details and opening acts have not been confirmed. Prices currently start around $40, with final costs depending on availability and seating.

Venue and Seating Information

The Lobero Theatre is a historic performing arts venue in downtown Santa Barbara. Its indoor setting and comparatively intimate scale make it well suited to a concert where vocals and acoustic detail are central to the experience.

For the clearest balance of stage visibility and sound, consider seats near the center and closer to the stage, subject to the event's seating map. Seats farther back may offer a broader view of the room, while the precise sightlines and available sections can vary by configuration.

Parking Information

Parking options in downtown Santa Barbara include public garages and metered street spaces. Availability, hours, and rates can change, so check current city parking information before setting out.

• Public parking garages near downtown destinations can be a practical choice; allow extra time to park and walk to the theatre.
• Street parking may be available nearby, but spaces and posted time limits vary. Read signs carefully and avoid relying on a curbside space close to showtime.
